Comparative Research of Content Regulation in Europe and Asia
We are pleased to share that the research group of the Learning Institute at Mathias Corvinus Collegium has published a new study:
Compass to History and Civic Education
The volume presents the first results of an ongoing international comparative research project examining the position of history and civic education across European and Asian countries.
At the core of the research is a newly developed analytical framework, the CFHCE (Comparative Framework of History and Civic Education), designed to compare national curricula, examinations, competences, and prescribed content.
The study also introduces a complex model of historical thinking, highlighting the growing importance of information and media literacy in contemporary education.
